Dogs Health and Safety:
As part of our pre-service visit a health and safety form is required to be signed to clarify that your dog(s) is up to date with all vaccinations and is chipped. It also requires emergency contact details and their Vet details in case of an emergency.
Our main priority is to keep all dogs safe. Because of this, we cannot take on clients with aggressive dogs as we only provide pack walks and do not currently offer a solo-walk service. If your dog starts to show signs of aggression after becoming a client of ours, a discussion will take place about possibly muzzling your dog on walks for both their own and other dogs safety. In the most serious situations, Paws on the Go have the right to refuse walks any time if we feel our own and/or other dogs safety is on danger.
Female dogs in season/ Male dogs intact:
If your female dog comes into season please make us aware as soon as possible.
While your female dog is in season, solo walks for her can be provided. However, this is subject to availability. All male dogs that are over the age of 18 months and have problems with mounting other dogs cannot be walked by Paws On The Go. This is to avoid stress for the other dogs in the pack as well as ensuring the safety of your own dog.
Males over the age of 18 months who do not show signs of severe humping can be walked by Paws On The Go.
