April Paws Newsletter
Spring is fully here and the pack is feeling it!
Longer days, more energy and happy pups coming home tired in the best way.
Weekend Trips Coming Soon
We’re starting to prepare for weekend trips beginning next month!
These will be small, intentional getaways with the pups.. think nature, slower pace, and deeper connection time with the pack.
More details coming very soon, but if this is something you’ve been curious about, keep an eye out.
Caterpillar Season (Almost) Over
Good news, caterpillar season is coming to an end
That said, we’re still staying cautious on certain trails and keeping a close eye on the dogs while we’re out.
Tick Reminder
Please continue to:
• Check your pups after hikes
• Especially ears, paws, and under collars
• Be extra mindful if they’re not using the collar tick prevention
They can easily hitch a ride home, even after a quick outing.
New Pack Members
We’re so happy to welcome Bubbles, Otis and Sonja to the pack this month.
They’ve both been settling in beautifully and finding their rhythm with the group. We’re excited to have them as part of the pack.
Adventure Day
This month’s Adventure Day will be Friday the 17th.
These are always really fun days where the dogs get a longer outing and extra time exploring together in a new place. It’s usually a slower day with lots of wandering, sniffing, and time for the dogs to just be dogs together.
We’ll keep our normal morning pickup times, then head out of the city for the day. The drive will be no longer than about 1 hour and 30 minutes so the pups still get plenty of time out on the trails once we arrive.
We plan to return in the afternoon with drop-offs between 5–6 pm, depending a bit on Friday traffic.
If you’d like to send your pup with a small lunch or snacks to share with the pack, we always love that. Last month the pups enjoyed things like carrots, duck strips, and beef treats.
The price for Adventure Day is €50 per dog.
If you’d like your pup to join this month, just let us know soon and we’ll save them a spot.
As Always…
Thank you for trusting us with your pups.
This little community we’ve built means a lot; not just the hikes, but the relationships, the consistency, and the care behind it all.
